Rave.. what is it ? Is a rave an evil thing or is a rave joyous event ?
Rave.. what is it ?
A rave is simply a party which features electronic dance music. To be a
rave proper it must not be thrown at a club. Most people beleive that
raves are no more and they are correct. An integral part of tthe rave
experience was caring for other club goers and introducing new comers
to the rave culture. The communal part of rave culture is no more and
thus there are no raves.
Raves did have many drugs present but many people went to raves that
didn't do drugs. Drugs were an accepted part of rave culture and
were not judged good or bad by most people. Respecting personal choice
was an important part of rave culture that slowly faded. The decrease
intolerance began with older ravers beginiing to consider themselve the
only true raver s and they refused to indoctrinate the new members in
the ways ravers acted.
