A rave that was busted in Utah caused an uproar over first amendment rights.
The rave that was busted by a local sheriff in Spanish Fork Canyon is the center of a dispute over the legality of the raid. The raid appears to have used excessive force to some. The sherif disagrees with the use of force being excessive, citing the number of people to be controlled warranted the use of SWAT and dogs. The ACLU has joined the fray citing that the case has First amendment implications.
